Sour Cream Mexican Chicken Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons cooking oil
- 12 chicken thighs
- 1/2 cups sour cream
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 clove garlic
- 1 large onion, thin sliced
- 1 4oz. can diced green chiles
- 1 cup Jack cheese, shredded
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
Preparation
- Heat oil in fry pan over medium heat
- Brown chicken on all sides
- In blender mix: sour cream, milk, salt, pepper, flour, garlic
- Transfer browned chicken to shallow 3qt. baking dish
- Cook onion in fry pan until limp
- Spoon onion & green chiles over chicken
- Pour over sour cream mixture
- Bake uncovered at 350° 40min
- Sprinkle cheese & return to oven 5min
