Ingredients
- 1 lb-18 oz can pork & beans
- 2 tablespoons (rounded & packed) brown sugar
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- 1 lb. onion, chopped
- 1/4 teaspoon dry mustard
- 4 slices bacon (cut in 3/8 in pieces)
Preparation
- Saute bacon till 1/2 cooked, then add onion
- Continue cooking till bacon is done but NOT crisp
- Drain fat off bacon
- Mix all ingredients
- Bake in uncovered casserole at 350° 2 hrs (or longer at lower temp, adjusting to allow for slightly darkening but not burning)
