Ingredients
- 1 loose head lettuce, peel off and wash
- 1½ to 2 lbs ground beef
- 1 can water chestnuts, diced
- 6-8 Chinese black mushrooms, soak 1 hour and chop
- 1/4 cup hoisin sauce
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- Garlic salt and pepper, to taste
- 2 stalks green onion, chopped
Instructions
- Brown ground beef
- Add water chestnuts, mushrooms, and hoisin and spices
- Cover and simmer on medium for 5 minutes
- Add green onions, stir and serve in lettuce wraps, like a burrito
