Ingredients
- 12 slices bread, trimmed & cubed
- 1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen chopped broccoli, thawed & drained
- 2 cups diced ham
- 2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese
- 6 eggs, slightly beaten
- 3 1/2 cups milk
- 2 teaspoons instant dry onions
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon dry mustard
Preparation
- Cover bottom of buttered 9x13” baking pan with half the bread cubes
- Layer broccoli, ham and cheese over bread
- Top with remaining bread cubes
- Combine eggs, milk, onions, salt and mustard
- Pour over strata
- Cover and refrigerate several hours or overnight
- Bake in a 350° oven till tests done when knife inserted in center comes out clean (55-60 min.)
- Let stand 10 min
- Cut into squares
